PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calorific value detection method which can accurately detect the calorific value of an electronic component mounted on a substrate.SOLUTION: In the calorific value detection method, an electronic component 1 mounted on a substrate 2 is provided with a cooler 3. The cooler 3 cools the electronic component 1 by using cooling water flowing inside it. Here, the flow rate of cooling water is changed, and the temperature of the electronic component 1, the temperature of the cooling water flowing into the cooler 3, the temperature of the cooling water discharged from the cooler 3, and the flow rate of the cooling water are measured plural times. On the basis of the measurement results, the calorific value of the electronic component 1 is obtained. |
