摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated guided vehicle, even when the automated guided vehicle is gotten under a carrier basket, connected to the carrier basket and carries it, capable of highly accurately controlling a guide without laying a guide wire such as a magnetic tape and an optical tape on a floor surface.SOLUTION: A two-dimensional laser range finder 2 is disposed on a vehicle body 10 of an automated guided vehicle 1, the two-dimensional laser range finer measuring a retroreflective material 3 that is disposed on a travel area of the automated guided vehicle 1 to be measured from a clearance formed between leg parts 51 of a carrier basket 5 stopping inside the travel area. Measurement data obtained by the two-dimensional laser range finder by measuring the retroreflective material 3 is calculated and collated with prerecorded information of the retroreflective material 3, to identify the measured retroreflective material 3 and a current location of the automated guided vehicle, so as to control and guide the travel of the automated guided vehicle 1.
