PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a terminal connection mode in a network of a multistage configuration.SOLUTION: At the start of using a service, terminals 2A, 2B access a service use start page 171 provided by an HTTP server 17 to transmit each own MAC address. A terminal connection mode identification unit 14 acquires a MAC address corresponding to an IP address obtained by accessing the service use start page from the terminals 2A, 2B, to compare with the transmitted MAC address. Therefore, the connection mode of the terminals 2A, 2B to a home network, namely whether or not the terminals 2A, 2B can be identified based on the MAC address described in a packet, is determined, to thereby enable notification of whether or not the service is available. |
