<p>PURPOSE:To attain printing at prescribed recording density from the start of recording to the end by estimating the temperature rise of a thermal head at every line by means of counting a printing rate and a printing period at every line, correcting a printing pulse width in terms of lines and giving optimum impressing energy to the thermal head. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensor 9 is read at the head of the recording start and is fixed by the head temperature of the recording start in the middle of recording. A correction coefficient in terms of the lines the respect to the printing pulse width is stored in a memory 6 and the correction coefficient is outputted from the memory 6 by the printing rate and the printing period. The correction coefficient is set in such a way that it corrects the printing pulse width comes to be optimum impressing energy with respect to the thermal head 10 by considering the temperature rise by the exothermic of the thermal head 10 in the printing of one line, that is estimated from the printing rate and the printing period, both of which are decided in a counter 3.</p> |
