Disclosed is an electricity generation apparatus using a suspension, including a turbine means receiving fluid from a suspension and generating kinetic energy and converting the kinetic energy generated in the turbine means into electric energy. The electricity generation apparatus comprises a cylinder, a damper, a valve and a valve control part. The cylinder is installed on a wheel shaft of a vehicle and is charged with fluid for absorbing impact applied to the vehicle when the vehicle is driven. The damper includes a piston operated upward and downward along the interior of the cylinder. A valve is formed on a lateral surface of the cylinder and supplies the fluid charged in the interior of the cylinder to the turbine means through a fluid movement tube. The valve control part detects the amount of impact applied to the vehicle depending on the state of the road surface when the vehicle is driven and applies magnetic force depending on the detected amount of impact to the valve to control the opening and closing degree of the valve. According to the present invention, deterioration of damping performance can be reduced. |
