PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement method of mevalonic acid, including the steps of removing mevalonic acid in a test solution by pretreatment and subjecting the solution to an enzyme cycling reaction, capable of measuring the quantity of mevalonic acid in a high accuracy.SOLUTION: There is provided a measurement method for measuring the quantity of mevalonic acid in a test solution by subjecting the solution to an enzyme cycling reaction using hydroxy-methylglutaryl coenzyme A reductase, and a calibration sample is a solution containing 3-hydroxy methylglutaryl coenzyme A.
