摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the temperature of a coper plate of a casting mold with high accuracy without being influenced by electromagnetic induction noise superposed on the output signal of a thermocouple.SOLUTION: In a continuous casting apparatus provided with electromagnetic agitation means which agitates molten steel in a casting mold 2 by electromagnetic force, the temperature of the copper plate of the casting mold 2 is measured by a thermocouple 3 embedded in the casting mold 2. The thermocouple 3 is embedded in the casting mold 2 together with a detection wiring 4 wired inside a thermocouple wiring 31. A measuring instrument 6 samples simultaneously the output signal of the thermocouple 3 and electromotive force generated on the detection wiring 4 for more than a half cycle of the voltage cycle applied to the electromagnetic agitation means, selects the sampling time at which the electromotive force generated on the detection wiring 4 for every half cycle is smallest, and calculates the temperature of the copper plate of the casting mold 2 based on the output signal of the thermocouple 3 at the selected sampling time.
