PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle travel control system which can reduce affection due to response delay of an actuator.SOLUTION: A vehicle travel control system calculates a first necessary deceleration G1 needed for not colliding against an obstruction a specified time Tms after from the present time, based on an estimated value Vt of a vehicle speed the specified time Tms after from the present time and an estimated value Dt of a distance up to the obstruction the specified time Tms after from the present time, calculates a second necessary deceleration G2 needed for not colliding against the obstruction at present based on the vehicle speed V at present and the distance D up to the obstruction at present, and controls braking force of the vehicle based on the first necessary deceleration G1 and the second necessary deceleration G2 calculated. |
