<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control system for a highland for actualizing good regeneration during idling on the highland. <P>SOLUTION: In the exhaust emission control system, a DPD 25 is connected to an exhaust pipe 20 of a diesel engine 10 for trapping PMs out of exhaust gas, and when the amount of the PMs in the DPD 25 is a fixed amount or greater, multiple injection and post injection are performed for raising the temperature of the exhaust gas from the diesel engine to regenerate the DPD 25. During idling operation regeneration on a highland, a regeneration idling speed during idling regeneration operation is increased depending on atmospheric pressure on the highland. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
