The arrangement comprises compressor (12) for generating negative pressure in container (7), if the difference between the pressure levels of two containers (3,7) is not sufficient for transporting the material from container (3) to another container (7). A throttle valve (15a) is connected to the compressor for controlling pressure difference. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) method for adapting transportation behavior of material to be conveyed; and (2) use of arrangement for adapting transportation behavior of material to be conveyed.
