Provided is a lighting device with high productivity. The lighting device (11) comprises: a main frame (21) of the device; a light source unit (41); a connecting unit (71) connected to a wiring instrument placed on the mounting surface side of the main frame (21) of the device; a power supply unit (31) electrically connected to the light source unit (41) by a wiring (50); a power supply cover (61) to cover at least a part of the power supply unit (31) and the connecting unit (71); and a translucent cover (51) mounted on the main frame (21) of the device. The main frame (21) of the device has an accommodating unit (23) protruding from the mounting surface side. The power supply unit (31) and the connecting unit (71) are mounted on an irradiating surface side of the accommodating unit (23). The light source unit (41) is placed on an irradiating surface side of the power supply cover (61). The power supply cover (61) is mounted on the irradiating surface side of the accommodating unit (23). |
