According to an embodiment, a device to sense a sink hole and a ground settlement by using an embedded sensing part includes: a sensing part embedded in the ground; an information collecting part collecting position information of the sensing part; and an information processing part determining in-ground displacement of the sensing part from the position information of the sensing part. A sink hole or ground settlement of the ground, in which the sensing part is embedded, is able to be measured by the in-ground displacement of the sensing part.
