SOU CULLING DECISION-MAKING SUPPORT SYUSTEM AND MANUAL

The present invention relates to a sow culling decision-making support system using collected information about sows and an operation method thereof. There are many factors determining the productivity of a pig raising household, and among the factors, planning and execution of sow culling are very important. Most pig raising households do not think sow culling important because of the investment in pig raising. Therefore, it is important for the households to conduct sow culling decision making to reduce feed cost and production cost through culling of non-productive sows. In a place where information about sows is manually managed, pig raising workers input data such as the number of calving, productivity of weaning pigs, number of mating, estrus period, number of disease, and lactation into a system. All manually-inputted information is transmitted to a server. The server analyzes the data, determines the sow culling timing, and saves the data in a database. The sow culling stages into three stages, and the pig raising workers are informed of the stages to make a sow culling decision.
