<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing method that can output an image not losing continuity, without uselessly discarding paper even when printing image data larger than the remaining amount of roll paper, and without imposing a burden on a user. <P>SOLUTION: When a rear end of a preceding paper is detected, an image printable on the preceding paper is printed. After that, the preceding paper is cut on the way of an image area, not at a terminal of the image. Then, a following paper printing is started so as to continue in the cutting position. As a result, the preceding paper having a marginless rear end can be prepared along with the following paper having an end with a margin, and thereby the sticking thereof can be carried out smoothly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
