The present invention relates to Hfq-binding sRNA of multidrug resistant (MDR), antibiotic-responsive bacteria and a use thereof, wherein overexpression library-based screens in all Hfq-dependent sRNAs for their sensitivity to major antibiotics indicate that 17 sRNAs are involved in regulating the susceptibility to antibiotics, of which 9 reduce or enhance the effects of antibiotics. The present invention shows that the sRNAs can be used as a biomarker to discern regulation pathways mediated by the novel sRNA and cephalothin-resistant multidrugs, and also that the sRNAs enhance the activity of levofloxacin with respect to the preserved and uninterrupted MDR bacteria, and therefore can be beneficially used in antibiotic susceptibility treatments. |
