In order to provide a handheld abrading machine comprising a holding device for holding the abrading machine, a drive motor, a motor housing for the drive motor and a tool head, wherein the holding device comprises a substantially tubular bar which has a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the motor housing and the drive motor arranged therein are arranged at the proximal end and wherein the tool head is arranged at the distal end, with which the abrading process is easy and as fatigue-free as possible, it is proposed that the motor housing comprise an attachment section for fixing an extension element in releasable manner. |
