Disclosed herein are a multi-display system and method. The system may include a plurality of displays for displaying an image and a wireless image transmission device which is connected to the plurality of displays through wireless communication, and which searches for a connectable display among the plurality of displays, receives a signal transmitted from the searched display, and detects a display for displaying the image among the plurality of displays based on the received signal.
