The vehicle braking device of a hybrid system comprises: a step of calculating a preset auxiliary braking shift stage in accordance with a slope using one or more steel sheet shifting patterns; a step of determining whether or not the vehicle braking device brakes a vehicle during downhill driving of a vehicle; a step of controlling the auxiliary braking shift stage of the vehicle when it is determined that whether or not the vehicle braking device brakes the vehicle during downhill driving of a vehicle; and a step of controlling a regenerative braking device to maintain the calculated speed of the vehicle when the vehicle braking device brakes the vehicle.
