<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively provide notification information on an event such as a traffic accident and a road fault to a vehicle requiring the information. <P>SOLUTION: The information provision system according to the invention includes a plurality of agents 1A. Each of the agents 1A includes an information generation part 102 for generating notification information by detecting occurrence of an event, a vehicle specification part 103 for specifying a vehicle running along a travel track of a vehicle which has encountered an event from vehicles specified by probe information, and a communication control part 101 for notifying the specified vehicle of the notification information.
