Disclosed are a light emitting unit for preventing the approach of harmful insects, and a manufacturing method thereof, capable of preventing the approach of harmful insects by emitting light of a specific wavelength range which the harmful insects dislike, and performing a general lighting function as well. The light emitting unit comprises: a white light emitting device disposed on a circuit board to generate white light; and a light conversion layer coated on the white light emitting device to convert the white light emitted from the white light emitting device into a specific wavelength range and emit the same. |
