The present invention relates to a transparent thermoplastic resin composition, and a method for producing a transparent thermoplastic resin using the same. The transparent thermoplastic resin composition has excellent residence stability when being injected, and has excellent color and thermal stability when being stored and used for a long time. In addition, the transparent thermoplastic resin composition comprises: A) 100 parts by weight of a rubber reinforced transparent thermoplastic resin; and B) 0.3 to 2.5 parts by weight of a styrene-base monomer.
