The present invention relates to a producing method of a super absorbent resin. The producing method of a super absorbent resin according to the present invention comprises the steps of: forming a hydrous gel phase polymer by thermal polymerization or photo-polymerization of a monomer composition comprising a water-soluble ethylene based unsaturated monomer and a polymerization initiator; drying the hydrous gel phase polymer; crushing the dried polymer; and mixing and reassembling, from the crushed polymer, fine powder having the diameter of 180 μm or less and polymer having the diameter of 300 μm or more, while adding steam. According to the present invention, it is possible to obtain a super absorbent resin having high fine powder cohesive strength.
