The present invention relates to an apparatus to process a base station signal and a data transmission method using the same. An apparatus to process a base station signal according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first backhaul port connected to a base station via a first transmission line having predetermined transmission capacity to transceive data with the base station using the first transmission line; and a second backhaul port connected to the base station through a second transmission line, which is a pre-generated internet protocol (IP) network formed between the same and the base station via a layer 2 (L2) switch to transceive data with the base station through the second transmission line. As such, a service can be smoothly provided even if the data exceeds transmission capacity of an existing transmission line by allocating an existing IP network installed in advance as a new transmission line without installing any expensive additional transmission equipment, and the service can be provided without any interruption using a new transmission line even if a failure occurs in the existing transmission line. |
