The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing environment-friendly grout using a food additive. According to the method of the present invention, a gel time regulator is manufactured by using a food additive, thereby discharging no pollutant substances after grouting, and increasing grouting efficiency since the grout is easy to handle and not dangerous. To achieve the goals, the present invention comprises the following steps: (a) preparing an aqueous sodium silicate solution by mixing sodium silicate and water in the ratio of 1:0 to 1:2 based on the weight ratio; (b) preparing an aqueous cement solution by mixing cement and water in the ratio of 1:0.7 to 1:1.5 based on the weight ratio; (c) preparing a gel time regulator regulating the gel time of the grout by diluting a harmless food additive with water; (d) preparing an environment-friendly aqueous cement solution by mixing the aqueous cement solution and the gel time regulator in the ratio of 9:1 to 13:1 based on the weight ratio; and (e) making environment-friendly grout by mixing the aqueous sodium silicate solution and the environment-friendly aqueous cement solution in the ratio of 1:1 to 1:3 based on the weight ratio.
