PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time until a nurse answers a call from a nurse call slave machine by shortening the time for calling only a dedicated nurse in a first stage.SOLUTION: A nurse call system comprises: a dedication storage unit 52 for associating nurses with patients; a slide call storage unit 53 for storing association of each individual nurse with a plurality of nurses; a patient position storage unit 54 for storing relationships between patients and nurse call slave machines; and a portable terminal table storage unit 55 for storing relationships between portable terminals 4 and nurses. A controller CPU 57 first calls the portable terminal 4 of the dedicated nurse (S2) when the controller CPU 57 accepts a call operation from a nurse call slave machine. If there is no answer in a predetermined period of time (NO in S3), the controller CPU 57 performs slide call for the portable terminals 4 associated with a plurality of nurses including the dedicated nurse based on the information stored in the slide call storage unit 53 (S4). This configuration makes it possible to preset shorter time for calling the dedicated nurse only compared with the time for slide calling. |
