The present invention relates to an apparatus for converting the power of an electric vehicle to efficiently perform charging, driving, and vehicle to grid (V2G) modes according to the selection of a user by reducing a power semiconductor component. The apparatus includes a charging part for charging a commercial power source with a battery; an inverting part for supplying a battery power source for driving a motor; a switching part which is connected to the motor, the charging part, and the inverting part, and switches on/off according to a switching control signal according to the selection of an operation mode; and a control part which provides the switching control signal to the switching part according to a mode selection signal and performs a selected mode operation. |
