An intelligent security video monitoring apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a first photographing unit which photographs a monitoring area, and generates and outputs first video information corresponding to the photographed monitoring area; a second photographing unit which photographs a partial area of the monitoring area, and generates and outputs second video information corresponding to the photographed partial area; a storage unit which stores monitoring information; and a control unit which receives the first and second video information, recognizes a license plate from the second video information, inserts the license plate recognition information into a header of the first video information to generate monitoring information, and stores the generated monitoring information in the storage device. |
