A cabin interior 12 lighting system for a land vehicle 10, the cabin interior lighting system 14 comprising; a lighting module 24 arranged to illuminate the cabin interior comprising a low colour temperature white light 32 and a high colour temperature white light 34; and, a control module 16 arranged to vary the intensity of light emitted by the low temperature white light and/or the high temperature white light. There may also be a mixing optic (Figure 5, 136), which may have a substantially S shaped geometry, arrange to mix the light emitted from the low and high colour temperature white lights. Each arc of the S shaped curve may be greater than 200 degrees. There may also be included an ambient light sensor and/or motion sensor. Furthermore there may be a user input to vary the intensity of the light emitted, by either the high or low temperature white light. A vehicle comprising a cabin interior lighting is also claimed, along with a method of use. |
