A method for tensioning a vapor deposition mask using an alignment master glass, the method comprising: providing the vapor deposition mask having a plurality of deposition openings, the deposition openings in the vapor deposition mask each being configured to deposit an organic material therethough during vapor deposition; providing the alignment master glass configured to tension the vapor deposition mask, the alignment master glass including reflective film patterns formed at only locations corresponding to the deposition openings of the vapor deposition mask, wherein the reflective film patterns are at all locations corresponding to the plurality of deposition openings of the vapor deposition mask; tensioning the vapor deposition mask using a tensioning device; allowing centers of the deposition openings and centers of the reflective film patterns to coincide with each other; obtaining a reflected light image indicating an alignment state in which the centers of the deposition openings of the vapor deposition mask and the centers of the reflective film patterns are aligned; and analyzing the reflected light image and determining the alignment state in which the deposition openings of the vapor deposition mask and the reflective film patterns are aligned after tensioning, wherein a first region in the reflected light image between the aligned deposition openings and the reflective film patterns correspond to dark portions.
