1. An electromyography needle comprising:
an electrode including an elongated body having a sharpened tip portion and a non-tip portion; and an electrically insulative coating on a surface of the non-tip portion of said electrode, wherein the electrically insulative coating includes a base material having a plurality of anti-microbial particles interspersed in said base material, said base material including an epoxy and a fluoropolymer.
