Class 81(2) An adhesive bandage comprises an elongated dressing 1 with an adhesive backing of greater width than the dressing, the backing having incisions 4 at each side of the dressing 1 and the end 6 at one side of the incisions 4 being of less width than the other end 5. The incisions 4 are of V-form and their edges defining the wider portion of the adhesive backing extend at an acute angle to the dressing 1. The bandages may be cut initially from a continuous band, having transverse perforations. The dressing 1 is of the kind which is treated with a colloidal silver preparation. The narrower portion 6 of the bandage is applied to a longitudinal face of a finger tip and secured by the adhesive strip. The portion 6 is then folded over the other side of the finger tip and secured by the adhesive strip. |
