The present invention relates to a menu selection device using eye movement tracking. The objective of the present invention is to provide a menu selection device using eye movement tracking capable of accurately recognizing a menu item of which a driver wants to select by detecting the menu item at which the driver stares while using the movement of the eye of the driver as pointing to the menu item and recognizing the clicking of a button by the driver as selection of the pointed menu item considering the human response time (i.e. 0.1 second). To that end, the menu selection device using eye movement tracking of the present invention includes: an eye movement tracker which tracks the eye movement of a driver and outputs time series eye movement data; a timer which is included in the eye movement tracker and outputs timing pulses; a buffer in which the time series eye movement data outputted by the eye movement tracker is stored; a counter which counts and synchronizes the timing pulses from the timer; a button which outputs a click signal if clicked by the driver; and a controller which extracts the eye movement data generated during a threshold time from the point of time when the button is clicked as the click signal is outputted by the button and calculates the average of the eye movement vectors in the eye movement data. |
