Provided are an electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery including the same, which has ensured safety and excellent battery performance. The electrolyte for the lithium secondary battery comprises a lithium salt, an organic solvent, and additives, wherein the additives include a sulfur-containing compound represented by the chemical formula 1, a phosphazene compound represented by the chemical formula 2, and a nitrile-based compound. In the chemical formula 1 and chemical formula 2, each substituent is the same as defined in the specification. |
