The present invention relates to a composite separator and, more specifically, to a composite separator comprising: a tie layer having an inorganic material or a mixture of an inorganic material and a compatibilizer on both surface of a polyolefin-based base layer; and a polyvinylidenefluoride (PVDF)-based outer layer or PVDF-based composite layer adhered to a base layer by the tie layer, and a manufacturing method thereof.
