The invention relates to a method for producing silica fillers with a hierarchical structure (micro, meso and/or macroporous) inside different supports (honeycomb-type cordierite monoliths, stainless steel ducts, glass tubes and cast silica capillaries) of different diameters (between 0.25 and 7.28 mm), fully preventing said fillers from shrinking and improving the properties thereof. This is achieved by depositing a thin silica film prior to the synthesis of the silica filler. The properties of the filler are altered by altering the thin film (microporous or mesoporous), producing very satisfactory results in the case of the thin mesoporous film in all of the supports studied. |
