extracting first color space information from first image data in which the first color space information and n-color values in a first color space are described in a page description language, the first color space information being information for determining the first color space, which is a target, the first color space information is included in the first image data in a first format when the first image data is executed; generating a color conversion profile in accordance with the first color space information and second color space information, the first color space information being extracted in the extracting, the second color space information being information for determining a second color space corresponding to output characteristics of an image output device that outputs second image data generated from the first image data, the first color space information is extracted from the first image data in the extracting by processing the first image data and calculating coordinate values in the first color space in a second format different from the first format; and converting the n-color values in the first color space into n-color values in the second color space in accordance with the color conversion profile.
