The arrangement has individual emitters i.e. individual loudspeakers (2), that are mounted at different distances from each other. The emitters have current spatial positions that are input to a system in order to calculate a correct delay of audio signals for producing virtual sound sources during model-based estimation of wave field synthesis. The emitters have a level that is corrected such that the emitters produce an equivalent sound pressure corresponding to associated portions of entire emitting surface.
