The present invention provides a Sphingobium EP60845 strain deposited under the deposition number of KACC91960P. Also, the present invention provides a composition for degrading organophosphorus-based pesticides including, as an active ingredient, the strain and a culture thereof. The novel strain, Sphingobium EP60845, according to the present invention has an effect of rapidly degrading organophosphorus-based pesticides which destroys central nervous systems of human and animals.
