The invention relates to the method for the treatment of gastrointestinal bleeding in the patients after surgery for ischemic heart disease. The method comprises fibrogastroscopy and the medicamentous treatment. In case of gastrointestinal bleeding at the intensive care stage, the method involves the use of H2-receptor antagonists Famotidine (Quatamel) 20 mg twicr a day intravenously; the agents affecting digestion and metabolism (Actovegin solution 10 % – 1.0 mL 1-2 times a day i/v or i/m); proteolysis inhibitor Aprotinin (Gordox) 1 MU i/v; antacid Almagel 5.0 mL 3-4 times a day; antihemorrhagic agent fibrinolysis inhibitor – aminocaproic acid 200 mL twice a day; blocker of proton pump Pantoprasol 20 mg twice a day i/v.
