A throttle valve includes: a throttle valve element (62); a support member (33) supporting the throttle valve element (62) and including a valve element support unit (51) and a shaft unit, which is connected to the valve element support unit (51) and includes a gas passage and an inlet port; a mounting unit (36) mounting the support member (33) in a throttle valve flow passage (48); a filter (35) arranged on the outer circumference of the shaft unit to cover the inlet port inside a space in which a shaft length is set by the shaft unit and the mounting member (36); and gaskets (71) arranged between one axial end of the filter (35) and the mounting member (36) and between the other axial end of the filter (35) and the shaft unit separately. The present invention provides the throttle valve wherein the gaskets arranged on both ends of the filter are not squeezed when the throttle valve element moves in the direction of an open valve.
