METHOD FOR TREATING PATIENTS WITH ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS

The method for treating patients with ankylosing spondylitis includes the radon baths affecting the backbone and inductothermy. The medicinal therapy, phonophoresis with ointment "Kortan 2" applied on paravertebral spine are supplemented with distraction performed onto the inclined plane at the angle of 30-45º under own weight of the patient and using the load. The general radon baths are provided with radon concentration of 40 nCi/L 10-15 minutes at the temperature of 36-37ºC, 14 baths in total. The baths, the distraction and backbone correction are performed as the separate procedures.
