A pouch type secondary battery according to an embodiment of the present invention is capable of cutting off electrical connection with an external device when gas is generated inside a pouch type case due to overcharge or overdischarge, and an electrode assembly comprises an anode plate and a cathode plate. More specifically, a pouch type second battery comprises: an electrode tab extended from the electrode assembly; an electrode lead of which one end is attached to the electrode tab and the other end is exposed to the outside of the pouch type case; and the pouch type case having a lead tab adhesion unit and adhering to the electrode tab and electrode lead.
