Disclosed are a set-top box and a display device including a separable card part, wherein the card part including a PCMCIA card such as a cable card for descrambling a scrambled signal can be attached and detached outside easily to facilitate maintenance and repair; and a card part-mounting method. The set-top box comprises: a signal receiving part for receiving a scrambled signal; a card part including a card slot part having a cable card mounted thereon to descramble the received scrambled signal; a substrate having a signal receiving part arranged thereon and electrically connected to the card part; and a housing arranged to support the substrate and envelop the substrate, wherein the housing includes a first opening formed on a surface parallel to the substrate and the card slot part of the card part is arranged to face the substrate with the first opening of the housing therebetween.
