摘要 The present invention relates to a wheel bearing, which improves fuel efficiency by reducing a length and a weight, and excellently performs transmission of driving force, and a wheel bearing assembly using the same. The wheel bearing in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a hub which is cylindrical, wherein a hub flange is formed on an outer radius of one end part, a stepped part is formed on an outer periphery of the other end part, and a hub track is formed between the hub flange and the stepped part; an inner race which is installed on the stepped part of the hub, wherein an inner race track is formed on an outer periphery, and one surface contacts with the hub; an outer race which covers the hub and the inner race to form a space between the hub and the inner race, wherein first and second outer race tracks, which correspond to the hub track and the inner race track, are formed; and a plurality of rolling elements mounted between the hub track and the first outer race track and between the inner race track and the second outer race track. In regards to this, friction materials are attached to the other surfaces of the inner race and the hub to receive a constant velocity joint and driving force, respectively. In addition, the wheel bearing further comprises a center bolt which combines the constant velocity joint with the hub, enables the constant velocity joint to apply pre-load to the rolling elements, and strengthens a friction combination of the constant velocity joint, the inner race, and the hub.
