The present invention relates to a method for performing a balancing operation on a plurality of battery cells which do not have uniform charge for charging in a battery cell balancing circuit using an LC series resonance circuit, so as to perform a more efficient balancing operation. To this end, the method includes a step of carrying out a series of balancing operations, after obtaining a value for balancing charge from all the battery cells which do not have uniform charge for charging, and then selecting, among the whole battery cell, both a strong battery cell charged with the greatest amount of charges and a work battery cell corresponding to the strong battery cell.
