FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: assessing the efficacy of a cytostatic chemotherapy of malignant new growths of epithelial tissues in the patients suffering malignant new growths of epithelial tissues requires examining blood plasma to measure the pre-therapeutic concentrations of microelements zinc and iron. That is combined with measuring the blood plasma concentration of lithium and deriving an endogenous intoxication coefficient. If the endogenous intoxication coefficient appears to increase more than two times and a half as much, whereas the concentration of lithium tend to increase min twice as much and the concentrations of iron and zinc increase min 1.5 times and 1.2 times as much respectively after the first course of the polychemotherapy; the applied cytostatic therapy is considered to be effective; the endogenous intoxication coefficient is calculated by formula EIC=(AWMpl+AWMer)/AWMurine, wherein AWMpl are average weight molecules in blood plasma, AWMer is average weight molecules in erythrocytes, AWMurine are average weight molecules in urine.EFFECT: method enables increasing the prognostic accuracy and specificity of assessing the chemotherapy of the disease and reducing the time for prediction.2 tbl, 2 ex
