METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF VARICOSE VEINS OF LOWER LIMBS

The method for the surgical treatment of varicose veins of the lower limbs by applying crossectomy technique includes ligation of the great saphenous vein and its tributaries. The latter are treated by clipping on both sides followed by crossing. In addition, the clipping is reinforced by ligation of the stump of the venous tributary with silk fibers to avoid clip sliding-off.
