The present invention relates to a photovoltaic system combined with a static synchronous phase modifier. The photovoltaic system combined with the static synchronous phase modifier includes an inverter connected to the output terminal of a solar cell array, a first circuit breaker positioned between the solar cell array and the inverter, a link reactor positioned on the rear end of the inverter, a bypass switch selectively connecting the inverter to the link reactor, and a control device supplying a control program to the inverter, and controlling to turn the first circuit breaker and the bypass switch on/off. The photovoltaic system combined with the static synchronous phase modifier automatically detects the development state thereof, and switches the inverter included in the photovoltaic system to the static synchronous phase modifier such that the inverter can serve as the static synchronous phase modifier when electricity cannot be generated. The power factor of a load terminal and a receiving end connected to the photovoltaic system can be effectively compensated.
