PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block unnecessary light in reproduction in an optical information recording and reproducing device for performing reproduction on an optical information recording medium where an interference pattern between signal light in which information is redundant and reference light is recorded as a hologram by a phase conjugation system.SOLUTION: The optical information recording and reproducing device includes a light source which emits a light beam, a spatial light modulator 312 for adding two-dimensional information to the signal light, a photodetector 325 which receives diffraction light obtained by irradiating the optical information recording medium with the light beam, and a reflection light blocking part 326 which prevents a part of the diffraction light from being reflected to the spatial light modulator 312 and entering a light detection part. The reflection light blocking part 326 includes a light blocking member which is arranged in front of the incident surface of the spatial light modulator 312.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
