PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored composition excellent in light fastness and moisture resistance, an ink for inkjet recording comprising the composition, and an inkjet recording method using the ink for inkjet recording.SOLUTION: The colored composition comprises a xanthene compound exemplified by formula 1-8 and at least one water-soluble discoloration inhibitor exemplified by formula e-2. The ink for inkjet recording comprises the composition. The inkjet recording method is carried out by using the ink for inkjet recording.SELECTED DRAWING: None
